PLEASE BE NOTIFIED and advised that Petitioner L.R.L. has filed a Petition for Adoption by Step Parent on June 11, 2014, in the Thirteenth Judicial District Court in Valencia County, New Mexico. The matter has been assigned to the Honorable Allen R. Smith. The Petitioner is required to give to Patrick Lee Grace, the biological father, notice that the above-referenced Petition for Adoption was filed, as the biological father of J.A.J.G., born on May 17, 2004, and J.M.G. born on February 18, 2006, to Patrick Lee Grace, father and S.M.R., mother.
PLEASE BE FURTHER NOTIFIED and advised that pursuant to the New Mexico Statutes Annotated 1978, §35A-5-27 (2001) and Rule 1-005 NMRA, you have twenty (20) days from the last date of publication in which to respond to the Petition if you intend to contest the adoption, and the failure to do so shall be treated as a default and your consent to the adoption will not be required.
