NOTICE OF FORMAL APPOINTMENT OF PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVE
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED THAT:
1. Nicolasa Castillo Chand (the “Decedent”) died intestate on July 10, 2014.
2. Zia Trust, Inc. filed a Petition for Adjudication of Intestacy, Determination of Heirs, and Formal Appointment of Personal Representative in the above-named Court requesting that Zia Trust, Inc. be appointed Personal Representative of the Estate of the Decedent.
3. On September 23, 2014, the Court issued an Order for Adjudication of Intestacy and for Appointment of Personal Representative appointing Zia Trust, Inc. as Personal Representative of the Decedent’s Estate, to serve without bond.
4. Bond has not been filed.
5. The Personal Representative is charged by the Court to administer this Estate pursuant to the provisions of the Uniform Probate Code, NMSA 1978 §45-1-101 et. seq., without supervision by the Court. If you are an heir of the decedent or other individual having some interest in the Decedent’s Estate pursuant to applicable law, you may be entitled to information regarding the administration of the Estate from the Personal Representative. Papers relating to the Estate are on file with the Second Judicial District Court, Bernalillo County, and are available for your inspection. In addition, you can petition the Court in any matter relating to the Estate, including, without limitation, distribution of assets and the expenses of administration.
