Notice is hereby given pursuant to NMAC that a Voluntary Remediation Agreement has been proposed between the City of Albuquerque Metropolitan Redevelopment Agency and UR 205 Silver, LLC, and the New Mexico Environment Department (NMED) for the Imperial Building (formerly known as the Hyder Property), located at 205 Silver Avenue, SW, Albuquerque, NM. The proposed remediation activities include the removal of approximately 20 feet of soil across the site and the resolution of the soil vapor intrusion pathway for the future development. Potential contaminants include volatile organic compounds (VOCs). To request more information, call NMED in Santa Fe at 505-827-0171.

Prior to approval of this proposed Voluntary Remediation Agreement, NMED will allow until February 24, 2015 to receive written comments and during which time a public meeting may be requested by any interested person. Requests for public meeting shall be in writing and shall set forth the reasons why the meeting should be held. A meeting will be held if NMED determines that there is significant public interest.
