ORDER FOR SERVICE OF PROCESS BY PUBLICATION IN A NEWSPAPER
THIS MATTER having come before the Court, upon Motion of the Petitioners, with Petitioners represented by TERRY & DEGRAAUW, P.C. (Kathryn E. Terry) the Court having reviewed the pleadings and being sufficiently advised in the premises FINDS:
1. The Court has jurisdiction over the subject matter herein and the parties hereto.
2. Petitioner filed a motion requesting that the Court approve service of process by publication on December 3, 2020.
3. The Petitioners are unaware of the current address of the minor child’s biological father, Timothy Harper. Service was attempted on two prior known addresses; however Mr. Harper no longer resides at either address and no one at either address could provide information on his current address. Upon information and belief, Timothy Harper resides in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
4. The court further finds that the newspaper of general circulation in the county that is most likely to give Timothy Harper notice of the pendency of the action is The Health City Sun in Bernalillo County.
5. THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Petitioners serve process Timothy Harper by publication once a week for three consecutive weeks in The Health City Sun.
6. The Petitioners shall file proof of service with a copy of the Affidavit of Publication when service has been completed.
