NOTICE OF INFORMAL PROBATE OF WILL AND
INFORMAL APPOINTMENT OF PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVE
To the heirs and devisees of MAXINE F. SURDAHL, deceased:
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED PURSUANT TO NMSA 1978 § 45-3-705 THAT:
1. MAXINE F. SURDAHL (hereinafter the “Decedent”) died on or about February 26, 2023.
2. SCOTT SURDAHL and BRIAN SURDAHL (“Applicants”) filed a Verified Application for Informal Probate of Will and Informal Appointment of Personal Representatives in the above-named Court requesting that the Last Will and Testament of Decedent executed on November 22, 2022 (“Last Will”), be informally admitted to probate and that Applicants be informally appointed as Co-Personal Representatives. Applicants may be contacted c/o Hurley Toevs Styles Hamblin & Panter, P.A. (Vincent M. Haslam, Esq) at the address listed below.
3. On April 25, 2023, the Court issued an Order for Informal Probate of Will and Informal Appointment of Personal Representatives informally admitting the Last Will to probate and informally appointing Applicants as Co-Personal Representatives of the Estate of Maxine F. Surdahl, deceased, to serve in an unsupervised administration without bond.
4. Bond was not required, and therefore, none has been filed.
5. Papers relating to the Estate are on file with the Bernalillo County District Court and are available for your inspection.
6. The Estate is being administered by Co-Personal Representatives pursuant to the provisions of the Uniform Probate Code without supervision by the Court, but you are entitled to information regarding the administration from the Personal Representative and can petition the Court in any matter relating to the Estate, including distribution of assets and expenses of administration.
7. This Notice is being sent to persons who have or may have some interest in the Estate of the Decedent.
